DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep tissue Massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic massage therapy, but the movement is slower, and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.

KINETIC SWEDISH MASSAGE®

The goal of the intervention will be to obtain total muscle relaxation and to promote greater amplitude of movement; hence the term « kinetic », which means movement.  The Kinetic Swedish Massage® techniques are applied from one tendon to the next.  Further to the effect of relaxation on the musculoskeletal system, other beneficial effects have been established such as: Kinetic Swedish Massage® is an experience in itself.  It enhances self-awareness, a token for an optimal quality of life.

REIKI SESSION

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a safe, gentle, non-invasive, hands-on healing technique which originated in Japan. During a session, the Practitioner will place hands in various positions on and above the client who remains fully clothed, channelling the Reiki (Universal Life Force energy) to move through the client while clearing and strengthening the meridians, the chakras and energy according to what the client needs. Reiki promotes balance and wellness.

QI MASSAGE CONSULTATION

The Chinese Massage also called the QI (Chi) Massage was inspired by the practice of Qigong, as it helps our body restore its natural relationship of Yin and Yang through the practitioner's techniques. It is considered a relaxing massage as well as energizing for the body and mind. The technique is similar to a Shiatsu massage since it uses tactile stimulation on different points in the body's meridian system. The practitioner uses soft and hard pressure, fast and slow rhythms, precise manipulations, and specific vocalized mantras. During a session we can work on the whole body or on a specific area (for example: kidneys, back pain, etc.). You will receive an energetic analysis, a massage, and a recommendation of Qigong movements, if necessary, as homework. When practiced regularly, it strengthens the body. Other benefits include stimulating natural self-healing capabilities, reducing tension and pain, helping with anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress and much more.
